2012 Visual Researcher Program

History Makers International is pleased to invite footage and image researchers to apply to our newly expanded Global Research Program at History Makers International, held January 25-27th, 2012 at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City.

The researcher program was launched last year in partnership with Thought Equity Motion. After the success of the 2011 inaugural program, they have decided to continue their support in 2012. They will be joined in their support by other International Archives as well as ACSIL, Focal International and the Visual Researchers Society of Canada.

To be eligible for the program, you must submit your application form via link below before 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday Dec. 6th, 2011.

Successful applicants will receive:

Complimentary Registration providing access to all History Makers International sessions and workshops

Access to all social events, lunches, Awards Gala, cocktails and networking events

Exclusive Breakfast: Thought Equity Motion will be hosting an exclusive breakfast for researchers in the program on Jan 26th at the Millennium Broadway Hotel.

Special Archive Sessions: There are a number of sessions particularly relevant to the archives industry such as new technology and new uses of content, hidden history showcase from various collections, a research panel, historical content in games and the History Makers Award to this year's program that features the best use of Archival Content. History Makers International also attracts exhibits from the world's top archives.

Candidates will be notified by Dec. 13th, 2011 if they are selected.
