THYATIRA — Chapter Two
What happens when the church becomes so busy reaching the world that it starts looking like the world?
What happens when we tolerate what Jesus refuses to tolerate?
In the longest and most corrective letter Jesus ever wrote to a church, He doesn't hold back. He walks into Thyatira — a blue-collar town strangled by powerful trade guilds — and delivers a message that shakes the foundation of compromise.
He calls Himself THE SON OF GOD — the only time He uses that title in the entire Book of Revelation. Why? Because a counterfeit had already claimed that throne.
He exposes a spirit called JEZEBEL — not just a woman from the Old Testament, but a spirit that is alive, active, and operating in churches TODAY. A spirit of deception disguised as deep wisdom. A spirit that teaches God's people to compromise and calls it maturity.
And then He says something terrifying:
"I gave her time to repent... and she would not."
Time is not unlimited.
